Who am I?


 Hello, I'm Mackenzie Kenyon! I've been a designer for many years. This is me going above and beyond for a video (if you’re wondering, it did hurt to take off). I love pushing my capabilities to the limits, and finding creative ways around them. For example here, I was attempting to create a POV-like effect as part of a visual poetry project. Since holding the camera was not convincing enough, there was clearly only one other option...

I love to do fun stuff, and I can’t help to inject a bit of fun in every project I partake in. My main areas of interest are branding and motion design, but I have worked in a variety of disciplines.  In college, my course focused heavily on branding which became a core pillar of my practice. While at university, I've had the opportunity to explore a number of other areas within graphic design. Some examples of projects I've undertaken include: editorial, font design, motion, product design and of course branding.

I work digitally most of the time. I like to work with a variety of different programs, using their strengths to help me work better. Using a variety of programs also helps me to make more comprehensive and professional projects. I like to keep my work to a high standard and I won’t settle for less.

Outside of work, I enjoy meeting with my friends, walking, listening to music and cooking. They say you either eat to live, or live to eat. I’m definitely in the second camp.
